Ben's Birthday Surprise

Ben woke up very early on Friday. He was very excited because it was his birthday! He went to school, but the day felt very slow. He kept looking at the clock. Finally, the bell rang. He got on the bus to go home.

The short ride felt very long. He felt lonely and bored during the bus ride because his friends didn't say happy birthday to him. He couldn't wait to see his family.

When he arrived, he opened the door. The house was completely dark. He felt sad before he switched on the light. Where was everyone? He reached for the switch.

Suddenly, the lights came on. "Surprise!" shouted his friends and family. There was a beautiful banner, a shiny mirrorball, and lots of confetti. It was the best birthday ever!
